What you can expect
Naturopathic physicians differ from mainstream medical physicians in that they are experts in using natural therapeutics such as herbs, homeopathy and nutrition to stimulate healing rather than using drugs or surgery.
Natural Therapies has been in operation since 1989.
On your first appointment you will spend up to an hour and a half with us. We email a health questionnaire ahead of time and ask that you complete it to the best of your ability and return it at least 24 hours before your appointment, so your attending physician has time to review your health history in advance. You then sit down together and go over your health history in detail — all aspects of your health matter so your physician can build the most appropriate wellness program for you.
Over three visits, your physician gathers information from a physical exam, organ testing with BICOM, blood and other tests, a diet diary and your history. Your physician then outlines a three-month treatment program. Once your health is stabilised, we outline an optimal wellness program for you to follow, including regular check-ups.
What are the charges?
For any extended medical coverage, you can send a copy of your bill to your extended company and, depending on your plan, you may get a reimbursement up to your yearly limit.
Return appointments are shorter — typically up to 30 minutes — and can also be submitted to your extended coverage provider.

First appointments are usually booked one to two days in advance. Our cancellation policy requires 24 hours' notice to avoid a cancellation fee — please call ahead if you cannot make your appointment so we can offer the slot to someone else.
